The Evening Star® core bit water swivel is a required adaptor accessory for wet core drilling of concrete pavers, brick and block. The water swivel adapts your electric drill with a 1/2" capacity chuck to our diamond-tipped core bits with a 5/8"-11 arbor.
The water swivel connects to a garden hose or pump sprayer and allows water to flow through the core bit. The flowing water removes the saw dust, lubricates the bit and prevents binding and jams. A small continuous flow of water is all that is needed to maximize the life of the core bits and provide a smooth, chip-free hole.
For optimal performance, drill on a flat, level surface. Use a corded electric drill, not a battery powered drill. Drill on high speed 600-800 rpm. Hold steady and drill straight down. Light fixtures will not install correctly into crooked holes.
