The Evening Star® 2 1/2" diameter Paver Accent Lighting Fixture is designed for all common 2 3/4" (70mm) thick paving stones. This fixture includes a two-piece Lamp Support Assembly, a 24-inch long 18/2 Wire Harness and a Lightning-Fast™ Power Tap Connector. Purchase PL250 Series Lamp Modules separately.
The lamp support assembly installs into the core-drilled paver from the bottom. The assembly becomes part of the paver and contains 6-inches of the wire harness which allows enough slack for future field replacement or changing colors of the lamp module. The wire harness plugs into the back of the lamp module with a waterproof socket and receptacle. Lamp Modules are supplied with NYK-77 Anti-Corrosive Compound on the receptacle and should not be wiped off prior to connection. The lamp module is mated to the lamp support assembly with a unique quarter-turn cam-lock. Once the paver is placed in position, the lamp module is easily removed by using the Paver Light Removal tool and Compressed Air Kit available as an accessory.
Connections to 10/2, 12/2, 14/2, and 16/2 low voltage underground circuit cable are quickly made using our reusable Lighting-Fast™ Power Tap Connector and is included with each fixture. No cutting or splicing of the underground circuit cable is necessary.
Evening Star® Paver Lights may be easily disconnected, moved and re-connected to accomodate changing patio layouts and amenities. 1 mm thick shim washers are used to compensate for varying thickness of materials when installing fixtures in brick or natural stone, and are available as an accessory.
